The two came together and laid the lyrics to the blazing chart topping hit “Freak Nic”. The heart felt hit “I Wish” was laced with the sounds of laughter by the children of Buba “The Medicine Man”. The happy sounds of the young children enjoying life is like no other, which is a breath of fresh air.

Gerry G says he wants his music to reach beyond color lines and touch the soul of all that hear it. This handsome young man isn’t just a face and body, he also has brains. He left the Studio to complete his studies in a Masters Program at Leicester University in London England. Gerry G says that the accolades that he receives from his music and performance are great and he’s grateful for it all. He added that the joy of his life is his daughter and the love she has for her dad. Gerry G wants a safe and better world for his little pride and joy as well as all the youth of the world, he often says “we have to do what we can to make the world a better place as a whole”.

 

Gerald “Gerry G” Alor had the honor of being apart of a Presidential invited Delegation that Traveled to The Gambia. Gerald Alor thanked the President and said that he was in The Gambia in 1992 and he has been amazed by how things have changed in such a short time. “Yundum to Serrekunda used to take two hours”, he pointed out. He said there is now high spirits and confidence in The Gambia and there is optimism which can be seen from the transformations taking place throughout the country.

“Liberation of African people cannot take place without a good agricultural policy. Your agricultural policy is good. Agriculture is indeed a weapon which they wield in other countries when they subsidies their farmers. A nation that cannot feed its population will go down as beggars. What you are doing in The Gambia today is a template that other countries can copy. Most of our leaders have let us down. Thank you. You are a source of inspiration for us in the Diasporas. You will leave The Gambia a good legacy”, concluded Mr. Alor.
