Kahlee Star makes you say

Kahlee was a born Star

Born on the day of unpredictable fate, September 6th, the only thing that was written in the stars for the artist Kahlee Star* was that she was to be married to the microphone and stage. Kahlee Star* was raised on the south side of Chicago, which is a city full of legends and particularly drenched with blues and soul. She is no stranger to that sound. Her voice is one that oozes experience and pain, but allows the listener to relate to her mature signature style at any age. Singing is the joy of life for this artist who has continued to push forward no matter what disappointments she faces. When she's not singing she always has a melody within her that permits her to write a song. "I know that this is my calling. This is the only thing that I know for sure that when I open my mouth or put a pen to paper all of the stars are aligned for me to create destiny hence the name Kahlee Star*," the artist stated when asked how she moves on no matter the obstacle.

Kahlee Star*'s career began at the tender age of three when her grandmother discovered her talent in the church. It was quickly nurtured and developed from that moment on and she hasn't looked back since. Years later she began to record and it eventually landed her a deal at famed recording company RCA in 2001. She didn't know that this would be the first deal that she would lose and there would be others to follow. Within time the best thing she could do was to hone her craft and make sure that she was ready when the labels came calling. Fast-forwarding to 2007 when a chance meeting with a fellow co-worker allowed her to meet her now manager Max for Maximillion Management. He had the belief in the artist that she needed for her career to take off and now they are embarking on a musical journey that is sure to make the history.

The Donnie Scantz produced single that is quickly making noise "Make Me Say" is the song being pushed for Kahlee Star*. She promises to have a lot more singles to release. She has worked with some of the premier names in the industry such as Eddie F. and Trackmasters, but looks forward to working with a lot of the new and underground producers that are out right now. The prediction for this artist in 2009 is high and she is going to be a household name soon. Just like the stars have aligned for her music creatively, Kahlee Star*'s name and voice is sure to be aligned with the greats who came before her ensuring her a place in the music history books.
